Summary / objective
The Vice President Legal & Franchise Compliance is a senior executive role responsible for overseeing all compliance matters and ensuring regulatory adherence across AFB’s franchise network. This position requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in franchise law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. The VP Legal & Franchise Compliance will work closely with the executive team to support the company's growth while mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Essential functions
Develop and implement the company's compliance strategy to support business objectives.
Ensure all franchise operations comply with federal, state, and international laws and regulations.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting franchise compliance and communicate these updates to relevant stakeholders.
Provide training and resources to Franchise Members and AFB Team Members on compliance matters.
Manage disputes, arbitration, and mediation related to franchise operations.
Review and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including franchise agreements, supplier contracts, and service agreements.
