Job Title : ETL Developer

Location : Boston, MA

Duration : 4-6 Months (posibility of extension)

Description of Duties

  • Design and build scalable ETL pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS and / or custom scripts.
  • Perform data extraction, transform data into usable formats based on business and technical requirements and loading into target database to support application requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendor teams to perform data quality assurance, ensuring successful data migration and loading into the future state database.
  • Monitor, test, and troubleshoot ETL workflows to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Optimize data pipeline performance and manage batch and real-time processes.
  • Document data flows, mappings, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience with SSIS, Azure SQL and Azure Data services (Data Factory, Storage).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, Azure SQL, T_SQL
  • Familiarity with CI / CD and version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge of database recovery tactics and security protocols
  • Understanding of best engineering practices in agile software development
  • Experience with code reviews, version control (branching), task management, documentation, and testing
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interface effectively between business groups and IT teams
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, or related field
