Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a clinically competent nursing professional with expertise in the assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation of actual potential responses to human disease and illness. The Registered Nurse achieves these objectives by engaging in a variety of direct patient / family care activities. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Age groups may include neonate through adult / geriatric but will vary according to the specific assignment.
