Network Consulting Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and networking industry, is seeking a Network Consulting Engineer to join their team. As a Network Consulting Engineer, you will be part of the Customer Experience support team, working closely with major clients to optimize their network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Austin, TX (no exceptions)

What's the Job?

• Lead the installation, integration, and customization of Cisco Software products focusing on cloud, networking orchestration, and automation.
• Engage directly with customers through onsite visits and remote support to deliver proof of concepts, pilots, and production deployments.
• Design and deliver end-to-end network solutions that address complex customer IT and business challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success, on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive resolution with engineering and support teams.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in customer-centric network solution design and service delivery.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Enterprise networking products, including Catalyst Switches, Catalyst Center, Routing & Switching, and automation tools like Python and Ansible.
• Advanced certifications such as CCIE or CCNP preferred; Cisco DevNet certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS) and network security concepts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and guide customer decisions effectively.
