Serving North Texas and surrounding communities since 5, University Behavioral Health of Denton (UBH Denton) is a private, -bed, free-standing psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care for adolescents and adults. We offer inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services and are very proud of our specialized Military and Women's programs.

Our inpatient and day hospital services offer supportive and compassionate care for adolescents and adults through specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients.

We provide inpatient and outpatient services for adolescents and adults suffering from mental health illnesses and chemical dependency, co-occurring disorders.

Registered Nurse key responsibilities include but not limited to: Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients using the nursing process. To assess mental health needs, develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care. To administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician. To ensure safety and provide milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Current license to practice nursing in Texas (or eligible to receive or renew)
• Current CPR or BLS certification
