The Campus & Government Operations Support Team is composed of versatile, high-performing managers who are deployed to support new account start-ups and client locations experiencing staffing or operational transitions. In this role, you will step into interim leadership assignments, provide hands-on operational guidance, and help stabilize teams and service delivery — becoming a trusted resource and partner across multiple sites.

This position requires 100% travel, flexibility to work hours based on the needs of the business and a valid, clean driver's license.

What You'll Do

  • Provide interim leadership for Environmental Services and Custodial teams across multiple campus locations, ensuring continuity of service and operational stability
  • Oversee daily cleaning, sanitation, and building appearance standards to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with Sodexo, client, regulatory, and safety standards
  • Manage the Unit Operating System, including staffing schedules, workflow planning, supply management, and operational documentation
  • Support special event setups and campus initiatives to ensure timely, professional, and coordinated execution
  • Build strong, service-oriented relationships with campus and client partners through clear communication, responsiveness, and proactive issue resolution
  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture while coaching and developing frontline teams during periods of transition

    What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience leading custodial, housekeeping, or environmental services operations, preferably within a university, campus, or large multi-building environment
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams to deliver high-quality service and exceed client expectations
  • Strong client relationship skills with the ability to communicate professionally, partner collaboratively, and respond proactively to needs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operational programs, ensure compliance, and drive projects to completion within established timelines
  • Skilled in analyzing data, presenting information, and influencing decision-making across multiple stakeholder levels
  • Capable of working independently in dynamic or transition environments, maintaining focus, accountability, and service excellence
  • Valid Driver's License, ability to drive, and clear background required
  • The ability to travel 100% of the time to assignments throughout the . with rotation schedules being 10 days on, 4 days off or 5 days on, 2 days off depending on the needs of the business

    Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

    Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
