Scoring : 20% - Cost

70% - Experience as a Salesforce Developer

Are you a skilled Salesforce Developer passionate about creating impactful solutions that serve the citizens of Utah We are looking for an experienced developer to support the system that is built on a Salesforce platform.

You would also be responsible to mentor and assist internal staff with learning Salesforce development skills.

Please note a positions eligibility for telework is established by agency management and is subject to change at their discretion at any time and for any reason.

Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Development :

    • Design develop test and deploy custom Salesforce solutions.

  • Configure and customize Salesforce Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud and other relevant Salesforce products.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other state systems using APIs web services and middleware.
  • Implement and manage Salesforce security and access controls.
  • Understand Salesforce administration.
  • Technical Leadership :

    • Provide technical guidance and training to developers with less experience.

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensure the states medical cannabis software system meets required security standards.
  • System Maintenance and Optimization :

    • Perform regular system maintenance including upgrades patches and performance tuning.

  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Document technical designs code and configurations.
  • Work within an agile development environment.

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce development.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce platform.
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs web services and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security and access controls.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Salesforce Certifications such as Platform Developer I or II are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Salesforce Administration.
  • Preference given for candidates with Power BI JIRA Omniscripts / Vlocity Mulesoft or Github (code repository tool).
