Location : On-site in Glendale CA. Youll work from a centrally located Los Angelesarea office easily commutable from Glendale Burbank Pasadena Los Angeles Alhambra and nearby communities.

Note : You must be licensed (or pending admission) with the California State Bar able to work on-site full-time in Glendale and genuinely interested in plaintiff-side employment wage-and-hour and consumer class action litigation. Occasional travel within California is required.

Our client is a rapidly growing plaintiff-side law firm focused on representing employees and consumers in wage-and-hour employment and consumer class and representative actions. With an extensive caseload in both California state and federal courts they routinely litigate against regional national and Fortune 500 companies. The firm is known for recovering millions on behalf of thousands of workers and consumers and for combining high-level advocacy with a strong sense of mission and compassion.

Job Description

  • Work as a litigation associate on employment wage-and-hour and consumer class and representative actions throughout California
  • Assist with drafting complaints motions briefs discovery requests and responses and other litigation documents
  • Handle and support discovery including written discovery document review and preparation for depositions
  • Participate in law and motion practice oral advocacy and court appearances as opportunities arise
  • Conduct legal research on statutes regulations and case law and prepare clear concise analyses for supervising attorneys
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and staff to manage a high-volume docket in both state and federal courts
  • Communicate with clients co-counsel and opposing counsel to move cases forward in a timely and professional manner
  • Support trial preparation and special litigation projects as needed

    • Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California (or awaiting CA Bar results / admission with strong credentials)
  • 02 years of civil litigation experience; experience with employment wage-and-hour or class actions is a plus but not required
  • Exposure to discovery motion practice oral advocacy or depositions during law school clerkships or prior roles is preferred
  • Strong legal research writing and analytical skills with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Positive team-oriented attitude and genuine interest in representing employees and consumers
  • Ability to travel occasionally within California for hearings depositions and case-related needs
