Summary :
Candidates will work in a low-volume assembly environment for large-scale platforms, ensuring precision, efficiency, and adherence to production standards.
Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to products, processes, and services.
Develop plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident-prevention measures, and workflow sequencing.
Design, maintain, and optimize production systems, integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
Conduct workflow analysis and develop models, databases, and spreadsheets for data analysis and metrics tracking.
Research, design, and implement process improvements to enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Support execution planning utilizing project management, scheduling, and shop load practices.
Provide support in production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility, and recovery planning.
Ensure compliance with industry safety, design, and ergonomic standards.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (Bachelor's or Master's) in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
Experience in Industrial Engineering or similar (Production / Manufacturing Engineering).
Typically 3+ years of related experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with low-volume assembly on large-scale platforms (rotorcraft, military aircraft, etc.).
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience.
Experience with Discrete Event Simulation Software (Simio, ProModel).
Experience with Constraint-Based Scheduling Software (Aurora, MS Project).
Job scheduling and sequencing experience.
Proficiency with NX / Unigraphics or other 3D CAD tools.
Experience with APQP and PFMEA.
Familiarity with Teamcenter tools (PDM, Process Simulate, Manufacturing Process Planner).
ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
