Job Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties :

• Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
• Records factors causing goods to be returned.
• Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
• Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.

Requirements : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
