Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector, Navigation, Intelligence, and Connectivity (NIC) Division, Secure Processing & Networks Business Unit (SPAN BU) is seeking a Contracts Manager 1 to join our team. This position will support one of our three operating units within the SPAN Business Unit. This position is located in San Diego, CA and is an on-site position.
What You Will Get To Do : The successful candidate will have full management responsibility for multiple contracts professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full acquisition life-cycle administration (business development phase through contract closeout), negotiations, and delivering strong customer satisfaction, successful financial performance, and risk mitigation. This position will require an understanding of terms and conditions and the ability to negotiate all types of contractual instruments and agreements. It is important that the Manager, Contract Administrator 1 has the ability to provide concise and effective communication through presentations, written documentation, or email format with different levels of management. Additionally, the successful candidate must be a role model for good business ethics and conduct. They must have the ability to solve complex problems by actively seeking information and new ideas from a variety of sources.

Primary Level Salary Range : $110,000.00 - $165,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
