• Effectively and professionally conduct activities associated with primarily procuring materials and equipment
• Know and understand basic procurement concepts, principles and practices, and basic techniques of ensuring task completion, project delivery processes, and supplier relationship expectations
• Learn and understand role of procurement, procurement's role in project delivery process, the value-added expectations, and perform assignments in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Know and understand basic concepts, principles, theories, and compliance requirements applicable to assigned group, subject area or commodity
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other applicable major; previous procurement experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. However, for some posted positions, a degree may be required to meet client or owning group requirements
• Previous experience in procurement or other procurement role
• Good analytical skills. Good organization skills
