Physician Assistant - General Surgery

Required Skills:
- Valid NCCPA certification and current State Physician Assistant licensure
- Proven clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, particularly in surgical settings
- Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures, wound management, and post-operative care
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to respond promptly to administrative and clinical paperwork requirements
- Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered approach
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in breast or general surgery
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical environments
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- At least 2 years of surgical PA experience, preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Prior experience with breast surgery is advantageous but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 4/10-hour shifts; no weekends or on-call responsibilities
- Responsibility for timely administrative paperwork and documentation
- OT compensation applicable after 40 hours per week
- Commitment to maintaining certifications and licensures up to date
