PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This role involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. As a resource and technical expert, you will make critical technical decisions while demonstrating extensive knowledge of your discipline and the application of relevant industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Utilize in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
• Provide consultation and subject matter expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
• Lead engineering and technical initiatives that influence short and long-term site operations.
• Conduct engineering tasks under supervision applying sound engineering principles.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work while adhering to standard design criteria and regulations.
• Perform independent research and analyses to support technical projects and initiatives.
• Suggest improvements by recommending new equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify processes, reduce costs, or comply with regulatory changes.
• Be flexible in fulfilling varied assignments as directed by management, including emergency response duties.
