PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. As a resource and technical expert, you will make critical technical decisions while demonstrating extensive knowledge of your discipline and the application of relevant industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Utilize in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Provide consultation and subject matter expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
- Lead engineering and technical initiatives that influence short and long-term site operations.
- Conduct engineering tasks under supervision applying sound engineering principles.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work while adhering to standard design criteria and regulations.
- Perform independent research and analyses to support technical projects and initiatives.
- Suggest improvements by recommending new equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify processes, reduce costs, or comply with regulatory changes.
- Be flexible in fulfilling varied assignments as directed by management, including emergency response duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
For Entry Level E01 Engineer - New Graduate :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil / Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear).Meet access requirements and pass medical examinations as necessary for position duties.For Mid-level E02 Engineer :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil / Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with 2 years of relevant nuclear or engineering experience.Maintain access requirements and pass medical evaluations applicable to the role.For Senior E03 Engineer :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil / Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with 5 years of relevant nuclear or related engineering experience.Maintain required access and pass medical assessments for this position.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineer Registration.Experience with the Design and Implementation of Generators, Relays, Transmissions, Transformers, and Power is Highly Preferred.
