Application Support Engineer

Infosys is seeking an Application Support this role you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Required Qualifications :

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas TX / Salt Lake City UT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4years of experience in Information Technology.

Experience working in Application support maintenance and analysis in Core Java J2EE Spring Boot any RDBMS (Oracle / Sybase / DB2 / MySQL / SQL Server / Postgresql) and Unix

Experience in debugging analyzing and find the root cause of Production issues log analysis hot fixes if needed.

Able to analyze and write production-ready Java code.

Working knowledge of Unix / Linux with knowledge of commands used for log analysis search file operations etc.

Proficiency in object-oriented design principles

Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring

Hands-On Development and analysis skills are mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications :

Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2 MySQL Oracle Cassandra MongoDB

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines especially using Git

Any front-end experience like React Angular or JavaScript

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
