Desired Skills/Experience:
- Current or Recent Experience working in a similar role for a Tangible Products type company: manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, product based services, or similar.
- Experience working in a similar Business Process Improvement(bpi)/Continuous Process Improvement(cpi) type environment where you have been the point person for Business Process Research-Discovery-Documentation and related Business Process Improvement ideally as point for changes-customizations-updates to the ERP Software System; experience working as the key-go-to-person for ERP Software System Companies (or vendors) for the purpose of upgrades, implementations, customizations and support is preferred.
- Strong Metrics-Data Reporting as they relate to BPI and CPI; should have Solid MS Excel and/or MS Project skills; experience with Metrics Reporting and Report Updates; Experience using other project management software packages (or SQL Server and PowerBI) is a strong plus.
- Business Analyst Experience Required: Understanding/Defining/Gathering User Requirements (must be able to 'drill down' to the heart of user needs and problem areas; must have experience asking the 'right' questions in order to help design a better system or to improve the business process); experience translating user needs into technical specs and making presentations to both technical and non-technical (management and business user) teams.
- Experience with ERP Software Testing and Gaining 'User buy in' for UAT (User Acceptance Testing); Experience Managing and Driving the UAT process and related reporting and 'do-overs' with the software-customization team.
- Experience training users and keeping users abreast of new and added system features while trying to ensure that new features and systems are used to their fullest potential.
- Project Coordination Experience: working as the project lead/project point person in terms of time-lines, deadlines and making sure internal and external key project stakeholders have the tools and information they need to execute; will act as the liaison between internal and external Technical Teams and Business User Teams; following up with key-stakeholders, driving project forward, managing feedback, changes and updates.
Pluses:
- SQL Coding skills (SQL Queries, SQL reporting, etc.) and/or Power BI
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP Type software
- A College Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related area is preferred
- Training, Self Study or Certifications are preferred: PMP, PMI, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Business Analysis or similar.
