Position : Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : VA Healthcare System, Atlanta, GA

Duration : 1-year contract (with possibility of extension up to 4 years)

Shifts Available : Day and Night

Pay Rate : Up to $60 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Description : Join the VA Healthcare System in Atlanta, GA, as a Med Surg RN. We are seeking experienced RNs for a 1-year contract with the possibility of extending up to 4 years. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve our veterans and provide exceptional patient care. Both day and night shifts are available.

Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and document care activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care strategies.
• Maintain compliance with VA regulations and standards of care.

Requirements :

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of Med Surg experience.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to pass a government background check.
