Uniquely positioned in our ability to produce large central systems for an entire plant down to individual filters for a single cutting machine on the floor, our proprietary filtration and cooling technologies come second to none.

The Electrical Technician will Install electrical wiring and assemble components in control cabinets, electrical and industrial equipment, and other related industrial apparatus according to assembly drawings, hydraulic and lubrication diagrams, and runoff instructions by performing the following duties.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lay out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications
• Cut, strip, bend, and form wire cable, conduit, pipe and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies
• Attach breakers, relays, contractors, bus bars, transformers, insulators, regulator cabinets, condenser units, motor and generator sets, meters, plugging devices, and fuse blocks to mounting hold with bolts and screws
• Connect color-coded wires using mirrors in compact areas
• Solder connections and crimp connectors to wire ends
• Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment in addition to connecting cables and wires between machines and equipment
• Test and adjust electrical assembles
• Drill and tap holes in specified locations for mounting control units
• Install power supply wiring and conduit/Unistrut for newly built and re-built machinery
• Square, align, and assemble bases, sills, cabinet frames or equipment structural components on the floor or floor plates
• Push buttons and press keys on robot controller, pendant, and programmable controller to program automated machinery, to operate and test for malfunctions and to repairs

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in related field and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals, engineering documents, and instructions
• Create and write documentation and marker tags
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership and supervisors
• Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Possess and maintain electric tools
• Work hours 5:00am-3:30pm CST
