Field Trainer / Training Support Specialist

The role of The Local Market Coordinator (LMC), Reporting to the District Sales Manager (DSM), is key to the success of our ever-growing team of Design Consultants (DC’s).

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
Provide support to new DC’s on ride-alongs 5 days a week for first 3- 4 weeks of selling, and subsequently provide feedback / coaching to the DC that is specific and actionableSupport new DC’s success by reviewing training items and by coaching to opportunities that arise on appointmentsAssist new DC's with reviewing of client invoices to catch potential errors before order goes into productionVerify accuracy of window measurements while on ride-alongsProvide the DSM with accurate, substantive, and timely written & verbal feedback including issues being seen in the fieldHelp instill good habits in new DC’s that will lead to their success : time management, following processes, responding in a timely manner to all email inquiries from Corporate Office, DSM and Customer CareImprove sales errors occurrence and first time installation rates by researching and understanding causes of DC errors, coaching DC’s and providing feedback in team meetingsPartner with installers to identify causes of measuring errors and assist with measuring workshops in coordination with the Training Department or Installed Services DepartmentPresent product related updates in team meetings as required by Training DepartmentHelp coordinate installer ride-alongs with new hires during trainingLive our Core Values of Integrity, One Team, Excellence, Superior Client Experience and Passion, to Delight our CustomersATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

High school degree or equivalent is required.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows based platforms such as Word and OutlookReliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and proof of insuranceAbility to travel overnight to support DCs in other markets if need be, and if DC is within own market, but appointments are too far from LMC to accommodate commute back and forth each day. Approved travel related expenses are paid for by the company, and we offer a per diem when overnight stay is required.Can lift & carry up to 35 poundsPREFERRED
2 year college degree is preferred in a related discipline2 years of facilitative training experience3-5 years of retail or in home sales support experienceExperience within window treatment industry
