About the Company : Our client is seeking a seasoned employment litigation attorney to join a dynamic team in the Silicon Valley or East Bay. This highly ranked regional law firm is offering a senior level attorney to manage the full employment litigation lifecycle on a wide variety of cases. The firm offers great prospects for career development, a collaborative working environment, and a competitive compensation package. The annual minimum billable hours target is approximately 1700.

About the Role : The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of employment litigation experience, with a proven track record of leading matters on their own. The role will involve handling a diverse range of litigation including defense against FEHA and Title VII claims, wage and hour, class action, PAGA, trade secret and unfair competition. This role requires representing clients in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.

Responsibilities :

• Independently manage and drive employment litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Defend against FEHA, Title VII, and related common law claims.
• Defend class action and PAGA claims.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
• Taking and defending depositions and arguing motions in court.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Actively pursue business development opportunities.
• Conduct training and seminars for clients.
• Supervise and mentor associates.

Qualifications :

Pay Range and Compensation Package : This position provides a competitive base salary range of approximately $175,000-$225,000 and additional incentives.
