Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the Madison Heights location. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on phlebotomy experience in an outpatient setting, with the potential for career advancement and raises at six months.

Responsibilities

Draw patient blood samples approximately 25-30 times per day.

Properly process and package blood samples for shipment to the medical testing sites.

Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws.

Coordinate the pick-up and shipping of samples.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in blood draw, phlebotomy, and venipuncture.

Ability to process and package samples efficiently.

At least 2+ Years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant with experience in drawing, processing, and packaging samples.

Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer tube colors for multiple tube collections.

High School Diploma.

Work Environment

The position is Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, with varied training schedules in Farmington (2 weeks) . Employees are expected to wear navy blue scrubs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison Heights, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
