We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician in Iowa.
Locum Tenens Physician
Position Type :
Specialty : Physician - Otolaryngology
Location : Iowa
Rate : Open & Negotiable
Shift : Monday Friday, 7 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM (36 patient contact hours / week); included in call schedule
Start Date : TBD
End Date : Locum to Perm
Position Details :
Patient Population : Adults (Central Iowa region including Boone County, Indianola, and Pleasant Hill)
Setting : Hospital and outpatient clinic
Responsibilities :
Full-time ENT coverage for inpatient and outpatient settings
Provide all ENT services
Conduct procedures in OR when open time is available
Average clinic volume : 30+ patients / day
Appointment lengths : 15 minutes
Call duties as scheduled
1 : 1 physician-to-nurse ratio; 2 3 exam rooms per provider
Required Procedures : All ENT procedures
EMR System : EPIC
Support Staff : 1 : 1 ancillary staff ratio; imaging, lab, and pharmacy available in building
Days Per Month : Full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE)
On-Call / Weekends : Included in call schedule; weekends as needed
Submission Requirements :
Board Certified Required
Active IA License or IMLC Required
Full-time availability Required
ENT experience Required
