Our at Lane Community College is seeking to expand its pool of part-time faculty to teach Computer Numeric Control (CNC) courses.

Position Purpose : The Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Program Part-time Faculty position will be responsible for CNC related training courses. The primary responsibility of the CNC instructor is to provide quality teaching in a full range of community college manufacturing courses.
Instructors are needed for one or more of the following areas : CNC Setup and Operation, CNC Programming, CNC Projects, Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing Processes, Solid Modeling, CAM, Safety and Basic Shop Practice, Shop Measurement, Coordinate System, and Metal Cutting Basics.
Program desired qualities include a relatively diverse background with a mix of teaching and project management experience as well as hands-on experience within the manufacturing industry. Essential Functions : Division Functions :
Plan, write, and administer CNC curricula to include instruction in the varied learning environments, such as in-person, online, remote, and hybrid formatsProvide quality and engaging instruction in all delivery methods and formats within the CNC ProgramSet up and prepare class / lab materials prior to the start of class to ensure timeliness and student success in the classroom and the lab spacesSupport student learning through activities that include :
