Job Title : AWS DevOps Engineer

Location : Jersey City NJ / Dallas TX / Tampa FL Onsite

Duration : 6 months

We are seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing developing and maintaining highly available scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructures using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services automation frameworks CI / CD pipelines and containerization technologies along with a strong passion for cloud-native development and continuous delivery.

Job Description

As an AWS DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for enabling seamless deployment processes automating infrastructure and improving development velocity across multiple environments. You will leverage tools such as AWS CodeCommit CodeBuild CodePipeline CloudFormation and CloudWatch to build and optimize robust CI / CD workflows. The AWS DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development QA and operations teams to streamline delivery enhance observability and ensure system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2 S3 Lambda CloudFormation ECS EKS).

Develop and optimize CI / CD pipelines leveraging AWS CodePipeline CodeBuild Jenkins or GitHub Actions for automated build and deployment.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure.

Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using AWS CodeCommit and Git.

Build and maintain Docker containers and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes or ECS.

Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using AWS CloudWatch CloudTrail and third-party observability tools .

Automate configuration management using tools such as Ansible or Chef to ensure consistency across environments.

Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve development workflows testing automation and deployment efficiency.

Implement robust security controls IAM policies and compliance practices across the AWS environment.

Perform cost optimization and performance tuning of cloud workloads.

Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging DevOps tools and cloud technologies.

The AWS DevOps Engineer will serve as a key contributor to cloud modernization and continuous delivery initiatives ensuring reliability scalability and performance across production systems.
