About This Role :
Switchboard Hiring, a boutique recruiting agency, is helping a small but growing legal practice hire a Legal Administrator . This is a brand-new role, perfect for someone who enjoys building processes, establishing best practices, and working closely with leadership to shape the way a firm operates.
The Role :
As the Legal Administrator, you’ll work alongside the firm’s Owner to manage operations, streamline workflows, and help set up systems that ensure efficiency and compliance. This is a hands-on role where your contributions will directly impact the growth and success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, communications, and document management
- Support billing, invoicing, and financial tracking processes
- Help establish and maintain compliance with legal procedures, deadlines, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate case management, filings, and client communications alongside attorneys
- Work with paralegals or administrative staff as needed
- Develop and improve processes to support firm growth and efficiency
Requirements
Who You Are :
Experienced in a law firm or corporate legal environmentExcited by new, evolving roles and the opportunity to shape processes from the ground upHighly organized, detail-oriented, and proactiveComfortable handling confidential information and juggling multiple prioritiesSkilled in office management software and legal toolsCan work a hybrid schedule between home and officeProfessional Legal Administrator (PLA) certification or similar designation – a plus, but not requiredOther Titles You Might Know This Role By :
