Position Summary

The PAS Case Manager oversees ancillary programs such as Star+PLUS, Primary Home Care, Family Care, Community-Based Alternatives Program, MDCP, and Private Duty / Personal Assistance / Sitter Services . This role ensures quality care for patients and families while maintaining compliance with agency policies and scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all Personal Assistance Services / Community Care Program employees in planning and coordinating patient care per physician’s plan and state program guidelines.
• Assist with billing for ancillary program patients and ensure accuracy in scheduling and office coordination.
• Collaborate with HR to maintain complete and compliant staff files.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and agency policies.
• Conduct supervisory visits and document notes promptly.
• Communicate effectively with State program and MCO caseworkers regarding client issues.
• Hire, train, and in-service quality staff; track unstaffed hours and hiring efforts.
• Participate in meetings, case conferences, and budget planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.
