About the Role
The Clinical Director serves as a vital operational and clinical head overseeing all aspects of the Adult Medicine department. You will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of clinical quality and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer this is a highly collaborative role that requires close coordination with the Nurse Manager Practice Manager and the Director of Infectious Diseases.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Integrated Leadership : Maintaining a clinical practice while providing strategic and administrative oversight.
Operational Excellence : Driving measurable improvements in provider efficiency patient experience clinic financial health and overall clinical processes.
Team Management : Leading all aspects of clinical staff and provider management including recruitment onboarding retention professional development and disciplinary action.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will be a board-certified physician who is a graduate of an accredited medical school and possesses :
Active Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
A verifiable track record of delivering high-quality efficient and compassionate patient care.
Experience or deep familiarity with serving diverse medically complex and underserved patient populations.
Proven leadership experience (e.g. Director Associate Director) in a relevant setting such as a major health center or established private practice.
Demonstrated ability to manage develop and retain a high-performing clinical team.
