The Lead Learning Experience Designer works closely with IT leaders and team members to pinpoint and address knowledge and performance gaps through innovative learning solutions. In this role, you'll create, deliver, and scale impactful learning experiences tailored for IT Leadership Development and AI Fluency initiatives. Your contributions will enhance leadership capabilities within the IT organization and promote AI fluency among associates.

By utilizing performance consulting, adult learning principles, and instructional design best practices, the Lead Learning Experience Designer will develop engaging content in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders across the organization, including executives, to drive ongoing improvement and measurable results. This role will also influence departmental strategy and make informed decisions regarding moderately complex to complex issues with minimal direction.

• Design and develop engaging, learner-centric experiences that foster skill development and performance.
• Collaborate with SMEs to analyze learning requirements, formulate effective learning objectives, and create instructional materials, including storyboards, scripts, performance support tools, and manuals.
• Write impactful learning objectives and coordinate performance assessments to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Ensure course materials are updated and aligned with training needs.
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of training programs through learner satisfaction, proficiency assessments, and job performance improvement metrics.
• Guide facilitators by providing instruction and support.
• Select and utilize relevant learning technologies to enhance development and delivery, such as Articulate, Vyond, and Cornerstone on Demand.
• Plan, organize, and deliver tailored training curricula, materials, and job performance aids to meet specific training needs.
• Employ consultative skills for project commitment and conduct needs analysis to establish the relevance of learning solutions.
• Play a pivotal role in creating engaging learning experiences that support skill development and knowledge acquisition. Facilitation of live and virtual training sessions may be required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Adult Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and delivering learning solutions focused on leadership or AI.
• 5+ years of experience in developing e-learning modules and leading facilitated learning events.
• 3+ years of experience in facilitating in-person and virtual learning sessions using various instructional techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey learning approaches and outcomes to stakeholders, including executives.
• Ability to effectively plan, execute, and manage learning projects, including risk mitigation and communication with stakeholders.
• Proven track record in training design, development, and implementation across various formats (e.g., paper-based, facilitated, webcasts, e-learning).
• Proficiency in multimedia content creation using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and eLearning development platforms like Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
• Experience managing courses in Cornerstone on Demand or similar platforms.
• Highly organized with demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong foundational knowledge of eLearning standards and Adult Learning Theory.
• Experience with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and performance improvement approaches.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to ensure precision and effectiveness in all activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field.
• Certification in instructional design tools or methodologies (e.g., ATD, CPTD, Kirkpatrick).
• Familiarity with IT, healthcare, or insurance sectors.

We utilize an interviewing technology called HireVue to streamline our hiring process and connect with you regarding your relevant skills and experiences at your convenience.

To ensure effective remote work, employees working from home must have internet with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. A wired, cable, or DSL connection is recommended, and satellite, cellular, or microwave connections require prior approval.

Employees residing in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi-weekly stipend for their internet expenses.

Humana will provide employees with necessary telephone equipment for their roles. Work should be conducted in a dedicated space free from distractions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.

Travel may occasionally be required for training or meetings at Humana's offices.

Pay Range

This compensation range is a good faith estimate of starting pay for full-time employment. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location, experience, and skillset.

$71,100 - $97,800 per year.

This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
