HDR is seeking an experienced Water / Wastewater Engineer to join our Water Business Group in Springfield, Missouri. This individual will support our on-going work load, working on a variety of projects as well as managing small to medium sized projects and assisting with the development of new opportunities in municipal civil engineering. Previous experience in planning, design, construction administration and management of projects including water and wastewater conveyance and treatment as well as storm water drainage is desired.

In the role of Water / Wastewater Engineer, we'll count on you to :

• Take responsibility for performing complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed
• Function as technical specialist or project manager on small to mid-size projects as needed
• Supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed
• Perform other duties as needed
