JOB DESCRIPTION PENDING

Job Title : Clean Room Assembler

Location : Ann Arbor, MI

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Hours : 6 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Compensation : $17.50 per hour

Position Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clean Room Assembler to join our team in Ann Arbor. This position involves assembling holographic optical components in a clean room environment under the direction of engineering and department leadership. You will perform moderately complex assembly tasks with a focus on precision, consistency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform assembly operations following established work instructions and procedures
  • Use predetermined methods and setups; recognize and report deviations or issues
  • Operate and learn to use specialized tools and software
  • Maintain flexibility with scheduling or job assignments as needed
  • Comprehend and follow instructions without deviation
  • Maintain quality standards and communicate effectively with team members

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Dependable and punctual with good time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under strict deadlines
  • Professional demeanor and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort working in a clean room environment under specialized lighting (e.g., red light, sodium vapor)
  • Ability to adapt to routine and non-routine production tasks

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
  • Use of hands for fine motor tasks and operating standard equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
  • Visual acuity for close and distance tasks and ability to adjust focus

    • Mental Requirements :

  • Ability to understand and apply detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Solve routine and non-routine problems using logic and reasoning
  • Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Adapt to frequent interruptions and work under deadlines
