Schedule Details / Additional Information :

Self-Scheduled

Shift : 3rd Shift (7pm-7 : 30am)

FTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts)

2 Mondays & 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule

1 Weekend per 6-week schedule

2 Holidays (1 Summer & 1 Winter)

Training in ACLS, NIH, IV Ultrasound, and Charge RN roles

If you are seeking a dynamic night shift role that offers variety, challenge, and opportunities for growth, look no further! As part of our Internal Float Pool, you will rotate between ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units, enhancing your clinical skills with each shift.

Key Responsibilities :

Float among Med / Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support units.

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Adapt to different unit workflows while maintaining clinical excellence.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred).

Flexibility : Must be available for the following shifts per 6-week schedule :

2 Fridays

2 Mondays

1 Weekend

Training & Skills Development :

Receive comprehensive training in :

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (Stroke Scale)

IV Ultrasound

Cross-training as Charge Nurse to support multiple units and build leadership skills

Your role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care using evidence-based practices, skilled communication, and a compassionate approach. You will assess patient needs, implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes, ensuring each patient receives personalized, safe, and therapeutic care.

You will also be responsible for :

Recognizing significant changes in patient conditions and adapting care plans accordingly.

Implementing strategies to enhance patient safety and learning.

Coordinating discharge plans with an interdisciplinary focus.

Engaging in quality improvement initiatives for better patient care experiences.

To qualify, you must hold a Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) and have completed an accredited nursing program. Your experience matters : typically requires at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
