[job_card.job_description]College graduate interested in pursuing a legal career 1–2 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (any industry; food / beverage experience preferred but not required) Strong organizational and logical thinking skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication abilities High level of reading comprehension and ability to quickly analyze contracts Service-oriented mindset; eager to support multiple department managers Motivated to learn, take direction, and grow under mentorship Pay : $25 - $30 / hour at 40 hours per week. Hybrid work schedule. Work from our Irvine office and WFH Free onsite gym
Job Description
This position for the internship is being hired now. This is not a future summer or spring opportunity. We are currently only considering candidates that are a commutable distance to our Irvine office location. Position Overview :

Through our stores across China, Asia Pacific, and the United States, we serve a staggering 100 million cups of tea monthly. CHAGEE is excited to expand its presence in the US market. Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct legal reviews of contracts, vendor agreements, and partnership documents
- Support HR with employment-related legal matters (claims, lawsuits, PIPs, investigations)
- Assist with marketing-related legal issues including influencer and talent contracts
- Review and support supply chain agreements and corporate governance matters
- Provide legal research and support for real estate leases and renewals
- Draft and organize legal documents, filings, and compliance materials
- Help manage corporate governance tasks, including asset and functional transitions
- Develop systems for calendaring deadlines and maintaining legal records
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations leaders
