Configuration Management Specialist

Future Technologies, Inc. is in search of a Configuration Management Specialist to support our team in Dahlgren, VA.

The Configuration Management Specialist will perform life cycle support, cradle to grave tracking of hardware components used in simulation systems through the enterprise. In addition, the CM Specialist will assist in the warehouse with assembling system as well as perform audits and routine maintenance in the CM database for simulation systems.

Qualifications :

• 2 years of experience in configuration and data management, data quality assurance and quality control, or inventory control.
• Demonstrated analytical, verbal and written skills necessary to provide and maintain configuration management records and audits of the specified simulation computer equipment and configurations across multiple sites. Experience in configuration management-related tools.
• Experience using Microsoft Office’s product suite.
• Demonstrated effective verbal skills to communicate with managers, developers, and peers.
• Experience in writing procedures and preparing systems engineering Life-Cycle support documentation. Familiarity with standards and best practices for the Configuration Management discipline.
• Active Secret security clearance
