Job Summary

Responsible for supervising an Operations team, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality goals are realized for an assigned area / product line / work cell.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of an assigned manufacturing area
• Ensure product/service quality through proper utilization of resources and adherence to applicable standards
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's polices and applicable laws and regulations
• Lead activities to resolve issues and problems, identifying root cause and effecting appropriate corrective action
• Monitor and enable internal and external customer satisfaction
• Drive continuous improvement through deployment of best practices, such as Lean Six Sigma
• Maintain and continuously improve areas, which impact on Team Member safety
• Hires, manages career development, and assess performance of assigned team members
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
• Attend applicable internal or external customer meetings
• Participate on special project teams
• Support new product introduction activities
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.. (Manufacturing technology, Industrial Engineering etc,technical degree preferred)
• Must have excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Proficient technical expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.

• New College Graduate preferred.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
