About the Opportunity :

We’re a leading company in Aerospace R&D with over 50 years of excellence in wind tunnel model design and fabrication. We specialize in creating precision test models and prototypes that drive innovation across the aerospace industry. We’re looking for a Wind Tunnel Model Design Stress Engineer who’s passionate about mechanical design, stress analysis, and contributing to the future of aerospace technology.

Responsibilities :

  • Design detailed wind tunnel test models using 3D CAD software.
  • Perform strength, stress, and structural analyses using Nastran, Femap, and Advance Sim.
  • Ensure design integrity, safety, and compliance with AS9100D standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and testing teams to support model development.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in aerospace.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX or similar 3D design software.
  • U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency (per ITAR); DOD Clearance preferred.
