Material Handler - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a dedicated material handler for our 2nd shift operations. This role involves collaborating with production, operations, and engineering to ensure the smooth movement of parts, maintaining organized storage locations, verifying material packaging for transport, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks. You will also work closely with departments like shipping and receiving, and purchasing to resolve distribution issues and update storage records in our ERP software.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with production, operations, and engineering to move parts efficiently.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas across shipping, receiving, and storage locations.
• Verify all materials are appropriately packaged and banded for transport.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Work with shipping and receiving, purchasing, and other departments to solve material distribution problems.
• Update material storage records in the company's ERP software.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.

Work environment :

Work in a clean warehouse within a startup company. The position does not require PPE, medical certifications, or other certifications. The 2nd shift operates from 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 30 PM.

This is a contract position based out of Everett, WA.

Pay and benefits :

The pay range for this position is $26.40 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
