Assistant Controller

ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

We have been engaged by a mid-sized, Atlanta-based company ($1B revenue) in its search for a strong Accounting leader for an Assistant Controller position. The Assistant Controller will have varied responsibilities that include : internal controls, period end close support, financial reporting, technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, tax compliance support, audit support, driving process improvements, and staff leadership.

The right candidate for the Assistant Controller role will have :

• CPA (required)

Big 4 experience

Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and technical accounting

Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's in Accounting preferred)

5+ years of relevant experience

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

History of job stability and career progression
