Contract Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll functions using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) for our organization located in Gig Harbor, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations, possess exceptional organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN), ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Handle payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies with efficiency, maintaining a high level of customer service for employees.

Maintain payroll system records, including employee changes, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and tax withholding updates.

Prepare reports detailing payroll outcomes and reconcile discrepancies between payroll reports and financial accounts.

Verify employee timesheets, imported data, and resolve issues related to hours worked, overtime, or PTO prior to payroll submission.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless communication of payroll updates and compliance issues.

Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations to minimize compliance risks.

Manage confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.

Requirements :

Proven experience in processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) is required.

Familiarity with labor laws, payroll regulations, and tax compliance.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other tools for payroll-related analysis and reporting.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interface with employees and teams.

Professional certification (e.g., CPP Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus but not required.
