Job Overview :
MPE is seeking an Engineer Co-Op capable of thinking outside the box to complete a wide variety of tasks. This individual will work with MPE's Engineering team to complete process improvement projects, design manufacturing equipment, and model conveyor systems using 3D software. Ideal candidate will possess the proven ability to effectively use 3D software, have basic understanding of processing plant design, and have excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities :
- Create 3D models of conveyor systems from concept stage to assist with the sales process.
- Communicate internally with MPE sales team to understand initial customer requirements.
- Assist with design and modeling of manufacturing equipment in the food & coffee industries.
- Work with production to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Work in a laboratory setting to perform R&D testing on new products.
