Harrah’s is seeking a dedicated Heavy Duty EVS Cleaner to join our Environmental Services team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment throughout all areas of the property.

Key responsibilities include detailed floor care (stripping, waxing, shampooing), carpet and window cleaning, seasonal groundskeeping, and general exterior maintenance. The ideal candidate will consistently provide exceptional customer service while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Provides fast and flawless service to every customer.
• Strips and waxes floors.
• Shampoos and spot cleans carpeted areas.
• Uses extractor equipment, floor scrubbers, shampoo machines, polishing machines, and special vacuum cleaners and scrubbers.
• Moves office furnishings and items as directed.
• Responsible for grounds keeping to include seasonal plan changes.
• Cleans interior and exterior windows as directed.
• Presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
• Scrubs and cleans all exteriors.
• Cleans overheads, ceilings and vents.
• Cleans all Harrah’s exterior-owned property, including sidewalks, parking lots, valet areas and all other areas as directed.
• REQUIREMENTS :
• Must havea valid driver’s license
• Must have a clean driving record (no at-fault accidents)
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cleaning, maintenance or hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor cleaning equipment.
• General knowledge of chemicals, shampoo, strippers, and wax.
• Must be capable of working in high places using lifts or harnesses.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends.
