This position is grant funded for the 2025-2026 academic year, contingent upon continued funding.

The student services components of the High School Diploma Program are operated and supervised by the Admissions, Recruitment and Outreach (ARO) department. The ARO department serves as the first point of contact for potential students expressing interest in the Community College of Denver. The department is the primary resource for new, readmit, and transfer in student enrollment. The department coordinates recruitment and student outreach efforts on campus, in community settings, and online.

This position promotes the High School Diploma Program as an alternative pathway to college education for any eligible adult learners. The role provides general admissions navigation, onboarding, registration counseling, and career guidance. This includes rapport-building with external stakeholdersboth individual learners and organizational partners. The navigator communicates regularly with potential students via phone, SMS / text, email communications, web conferencing, and face-to-face interactions under the guiding philosophy "recruit to retain" and increases student enrollment and retention. The role will also serve as a recruitment liaison between community / organizational partners and the HS Diploma Program.
