Job Summary

GameDay Men's Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for its Fresno location. The position is ideal for someone interested in being a part of a pioneering health program for men. (www.gamedaymenshealth.com).

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for :

Provide exceptional customer service and greetings to patients

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner

Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients

Injections (Testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12 and other vitamins)

Performing Erectile Dysfunction (ED) procedure on ED Patients

Checking patient vitals and recording in EMR

Ensuring all lab results are input into patient charts

Assisting medical providers with patient care

Assisting in lab operations

Maintaining accurate records in EMR and adhering to all HIPAA Protocols.

Scheduling appointments

Requirements

Smiling and cheerful and energetic manner

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively and work in fast-paced environment

Comfortable with sales : this is a cash / medspa business and needs customer service and sales

High school diploma or equivalent required

Medical Assistant certification

Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy

Basic life support certification

Ability to learn and use electronic health record systems and other medical applications

Experience in a related field and positions, such as medspas, urology, family practice, lab, endocrinology, gynecology or general practice is preferred.
