Job Description:

SIGN ON BONUS: $5,000

*COMPLIMENTARY CARE FOR ONE CHILD/INCREASED PAY RATES*

Shift: Full-Time Days/910am - 540pm

• Supervises, interacts with, and ensures the safety of children at all times.
• Develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum and monthly goals to meet children's developmental needs.
• Communicates effectively with parents, greeting them and discussing their child's day.
• Maintains sanitary conditions in the room and adheres to infection prevention policies.
• Provides responsive care by adapting daily routines to the needs of individual children and the group.
• Works positively and collaboratively with staff to enhance the experience of children and families.
• Meets in-service and continuing education requirements as per department policy. Evaluates and improves the physical environment in the classroom to meet children's changing needs.
• Demonstrates the ability to accept and adjust to change. Is attentive and sensitive to the needs of team members, children, families, and the center.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Teachers must have a clear understanding of the curriculum standards for the age of the children in their classes.
• Lesson planning.
• Knowledge of computer skills.
• Classroom management skills.
• Communicates and problem-solves efficiently.

• Bachelor's [Required]

• 1+ experience [Preferred]
