Additionally, the lifespan compensation range of this position is: $65,000 - $95,000/annually.

Position Description

Under general supervision, the Program Supervisor is responsible for a prevention program and supervising full-time administrative or program employees. This position may also supervise agency interns.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides general supervision to staff assigned to program or function, including recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluation, discipline, etc.
• Implements all assigned program requirements, ensuring that contractual obligations are met, including required reports.
• Maintains positive external relationships in the community, including involvement in relevant collaboratives, DCFS, coalitions and other related partnership development activities within the local Service Planning Area 1 (SPA 1).
• Carries out program management activities such as planning, staffing, budget, evaluation, and program development.
• Has overall responsibility for all contractually required documentation.
• Identifies potential problems with program or function and develops possible solutions, obtaining appropriate approvals when necessary.
• Works in partnership with agency's Development Department for program fundraising efforts.
• Meets with community partners.
• Will work with families in the Lake LA area, Wilsona Family Resource Center (WFRC)
• Conducts community outreach presentations through public speaking across the local Service Planning Area 1.
• Provides individual and group supervision to staff that provide direct service to clients.
• Lead staff meetings
• Provides oversight to assist with facilitation of program referrals.
• Keeps immediate supervisor informed regarding status of program.
• Provides training and supervision to agency graduate and undergraduate interns.

General

• Maintains confidentiality in matter of agency operations, personnel, and clients.
• Maintains positive communications with all agency staff, clients, and visitors.
• Exercises good judgement in performance of duties and responsibilities.
• Supports existing agency policies, principles, and mission.
• Other related duties as assigned.
