Software Engineer II

Description

As a Software Engineer II here at Honeywell you will contribute to the development and enhancement of innovative software solutions that drive the success of our aerospace products. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement software applications that meet the needs of our customers.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Clearwater FL location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our aerospace software solutions ensuring high-quality performance and reliability in critical applications.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design code test integrate qualify and document test software for Clearwater Space products including Inertial Navigation Units (INUs) and Single Board Computers (SBCs).
• Complete tasks under supervision of a test software technical lead. Learn and utilize the Aerospace Engineering Process (AEP) to develop high quality test software products on time and within budgeted hours.
• Interact with internal customers and team members and participate in peer reviews and major design reviews.
• Participate in Year-over-Year (YoY) improvement projects with other department team members.
