Litigation Paralegal (Trial & Defense)

Location : Los Angeles, CA

Compensation : $90,000-$115,000

Hybrid : 12 days in office per week

Hours : 35-hour work week

A prestigious, globally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its Trial & Defense team in Los Angeles. This role is best suited for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment , manages a strong caseload , and has substantial trial experience . You will work with high exposure matters involving public and private entities across employment disputes, personal injury, commercial litigation, and class actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, deposition notices, briefs, and related litigation documents
  • Coordinate filing / service and maintain court deadlines across multiple jurisdictions (state & federal)
  • Manage and organize large-scale case files, document review, production, and privilege logs
  • Assist with depositions, exhibit preparation, trial organization, and post-trial support
  • Maintain detailed case tracking spreadsheets and review electronic filing notifications
  • Support attorneys through all litigation phases (pre-trial, trial, post-trial)

    • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience (required)
  • Heavy trial experience (required)
  • Proven ability to manage a large volume of cases independently
  • Strong written / oral communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with court websites and e-filing procedures
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and handle sensitive information
  • Experience handling litigation matters from inception through trial
  • iManage a plus
  • Intellectual curiosity and adaptability to new software and processes
