Job Title : Neonatologist Permanent Full-Time

Overview :
Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, California, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate board-certified or eligible Neonatologist to join our dedicated team. This opportunity offers the chance to provide exceptional neonatal care in a well-established Level III community NICU, with a focus on work / life balance and professional growth in the scenic South Bay region of Los Angeles County.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver comprehensive, high-quality clinical care within a 32-bed Level III community NICU, supporting an average daily census of approximately 12 newborns.
Collaborate closely with pediatric subspecialty teams, including pediatric surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, and ENT, to manage complex neonatal cases effectively.
Participate actively in newborn services, providing direct patient care, family counseling, and support to parents and caregivers.
Contribute to the hospital s efforts as a California Children s Services (CCS) designated facility and engage in quality improvement initiatives, including participation in the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative.
Foster a team-oriented environment, working collaboratively with hospital staff and administration to uphold and enhance standards of neonatal care.
Maintain adherence to hospital policies and stay current with advancements in neonatology to continually improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications :
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology.
Active California medical license or eligible for licensure.
Residency within the immediate local area is required; relocation may be necessary.
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a community hospital setting.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
