AWS Service Finance is looking for a Finance Manager to support cost and capacity in the Object Storage (S3) business. Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services officially began offering developer customers access to web services now widely known as cloud computing based on Amazon's own back-end technology platform. AWS S3 and Glacier Finance seeks a world-class Finance Manager to be a key member of its team. This position will work closely with key business partners to drive thoughtful analysis and controllership in the S3 and Glacier services space. Some key responsibilities will include :

• Drive controllership by managing capital spend reporting, tracking KPIs, and performing variance analysis.
• Develop financial insights and narratives during all planning, forecasting, and reporting cycles.
• Closely partner with S3 business team to drive capacity efficiency improvement.
• Taking the lead in financial planning and analysis; building complex financial models and analytical tools to set and track overall financial performance against goals.
• Be a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions to support business growth.

This role requires a self-starter with a strong financial modeling background, problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations, and solid skills in project management. This role has regular interaction with various business teams and requires strong people skills.

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
