Position Summary :    Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that the bridge is inspected and that the inspection reports are prepared in conformance with the requirements per NYSDOT Specification.

Evidence of satisfactory completion of any of the following : FHWA / NHI Course #130055 – Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (2-week class)

FHWA / NHI Course #130056– Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges for Professional Engineers (1-week class)

NYSDOT Bridge Inspection Certification

Required Experience

Working Conditions

Work is performed in the field. Ability to extensively perform bending, kneeling, standing, shoveling, and lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed. Work may be conducted outside in heat / cold, wet / humid, and dry / arid conditions.
