Downtown Chicago, IL (Hybrid Schedule)

An innovative and fast-scaling international SaaS company is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead its global accounting operations and build out a world-class finance function. Based in downtown Chicago, this high-impact role offers the opportunity to step into a key leadership position within a dynamic, tech-driven organization experiencing rapid global growth.

As Corporate Controller, you'll oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, technical accounting, controls, and compliance , while partnering with leadership to support strategic decision-making and scalability.

What Youll Do :

• Lead the global accounting function , including general ledger, consolidations, AP / AR, payroll, and revenue accounting.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process , ensuring accuracy and timeliness across international entities.
• Own the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements and manage relationships with external auditors.
• Provide technical accounting leadership on complex topics including SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606), foreign currency, intercompany transactions, and equity compensation .
• Ensure SOX readiness / compliance , maintain a strong internal control environment, and implement process improvements.
• Manage and mentor a growing accounting team, fostering development and accountability.
• Partner with FP&A, legal, tax, and operations to support financial strategy, international expansion, and M&A activity .
• Oversee systems implementation and automation initiatives to support scale.
